From the moment you land in Billings to the morning you head home — here's how a 111 West hunt unfolds.

Meet at the pin and get into position before shooting light. Our hunts target Canada geese in the fields, ducks on small water, dry fields, and river settings. We run A-frames, layout blinds, and backboards depending on conditions — all equipment provided. Every setup is determined by the previous evening's scouting so we're always hunting where the birds are.
After each hunting day the group comes together to debrief, process birds, and get a fresh plan for the next morning. Our guides are scouting every evening so when you wake up, the homework is already done.
Fly into Billings Logan International (BIL) and make the 45-minute drive to Hardin, MT where our private lodge is located. Our team will already be out scouting fresh feeds and hot spots. That evening we get together, meet the crew, and lock in the game plan for morning. You'll receive a Google Maps pin for the hunting location and a meet time.
After the final night's stay, pack up and check out. Bird meat and trophy exchange takes place the last evening before departure — hunters are responsible for taking their bird meat or a processing bill will be assessed to the group. Then it's back to Billings for your flight home — with stories you'll be telling for years.

“Had an awesome experience with 111 West Outfitters. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and works hard from start to finish to put you on birds. Everything is well organized and will be ready the day before your next hunt. If you are an experienced hunter or new to waterfowl hunting. They check all the boxes.
Plenty of action, great communication before the trip, and an overall first-class hunt. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable waterfowl hunt and I’ll definitely be booking with them again.”

If you’re looking for an unforgettable waterfowl hunting experience, I highly recommend 111 West Outfitters in Billings, Montana. Jake Curtis and his team work incredibly hard to make sure every hunter has the opportunity to get on large numbers of birds and enjoy a first-class hunt from start to finish.
I’ve been on many waterfowl hunting trips with a variety of outfitters across the U.S. and Canada, and I can honestly say hunting Montana with 111 West Outfitters ranks as one of my favorite experiences ever. It’s absolutely a trip that will be repeated again in the future.
What really stood out to me was the pride they take in what they do. These guys are up early, scouting constantly, adjusting to conditions, and doing everything possible to put you in the best position for success. You can tell they genuinely care about giving their clients a great experience, not just running another guided hunt.
The hospitality was outstanding, the lodge was excellent, and the breathtaking Montana scenery made the entire trip even more memorable. Watching huge flights of ducks and geese work against the backdrop of big skies and beautiful country is something every waterfowl hunter should experience at least once.
By the end of the trip it felt more like hunting with friends than just booking an outfitter. Great people, great atmosphere, and memories that will last a long time.
If you want hardworking guides, strong bird numbers, incredible scenery, and a top-notch overall experience, 111 West Outfitters is the real deal. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
